North Shore Opera Hour

Luis Antonio Galvez, founder and executive director, realized the need for musical performances in an intimate setting accessible to all.  Based on the exciting Firestone Opera Hour of the 1940's and 50's, our performances include narration and interactive moments with you, the audience.

Special guests are often invited to sing to accommodate certain repertoire requirements.

If you know of a private home, bar, coffee shop, art gallery, church or other interesting space anywhere in the Chicago area that would be interested in hosting us, please let us know.

This is a great opportunity for a small business to attract a new crowd to its location while hosting an entertaining event.  We are seeking venues for this upcoming season which will include a Classical Art Song series entitled "Luis Anotonio and Friends"; the zarzuela, "Los Claveles"; Brook's adaptaion of Bizet's opera "Carmen".

And we are open for suggestions. For example: "A Night of Puccini, Mozart or Verdi"; "Death and Dying at the Opera"; "Great Opera Sirens"; "A Gilbert and Sullivan Night of Laughter"; "The Art of Seduction"; "Christmas at the Opera"; and "Opera's Famous She-Males"!
